Holy crap, wow. Thanks, bee. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for posting that up. I’m glad that recently, more people are recognizing the urgency of N. Korea’s situation. I hope that the US will aid in helping end the cruel & inhumane regime of Kim Jong Il! We MUST help make a difference!
raising awareness is def good. but i believe it’s not as simple as u make it seem. china has n.korea’s back; recent outbreak of lebanese-isreali shoot-out has captivated global media; and starvation and genocide are still prevalent over africa. in order to instigate awareness, much more needs to be done. and about s.korea’s benign approach. the world, US, japan, and etc, suggest an economic ostracization so eventually n.korean economy/gov will collapse or adhere to the world superpowers’ policies. which would u rather have? allow a mass of people to die now to bring a hypothetical freedom in future? or allow kim jung il to flex his puny muscles while letting n.koreans live? and assuming that n.korea’s economy fails, dont u think china will come to aid momentarily fearing a direct US presence beneath them? if u galvanize awareness here, in states, while ignoring the possiblity of worsening n.koreans’ state, u’d be doing more harm than good. i mean how else would us citizens take the atrocities in n.korea? bush will only attempt to topple kim’s regime with limited awareness of the masses
I didn’t know it was that bad, my inlaws are Korean and were from the North and moved south during the K war…this really strikes home for me since my family has been so good to me.
“Yoduk Story” is about to start their US tour in Sept. This will help to bring a lot more awareness to the NK plight. http://www.yodukstory.com/
They will start in DC, but will also be doing plays in NY and other major cities. If it comes to a city near you, please support them.
