I’ve mentioned before that my cat Smokey is an ojinguh freak. As soon as I start making it, she runs into the kitchen and starts meowing like crazy. It’s her favorite food in the whole wide world, so I made some on Christmas as her Christmas dinner.
Last night while I was writing the spam musubi post below, I started munching on some leftover ojinguh. Smokey was blocking my computer screen and refused to get off my desk because she had to have some of her favorite treat. I kept putting her on the floor but she kept jumping back up. She’s a crazy Korean ojinguh loving cat!

hahaha my dog is the same. his a 70 lb lab shepard mix, about 5 yrs old, so hes old and lazy now. he sleeps most of the day on his side, but when i go to cook up some ohjingu, hes like a puupy again running back and forth, jumping on me, wimpering,. give me give me. ahahahha
omg… how cute. it makes sense… cats like fishy stuff so ojinguh is perfect. She is truly your cat since she seem to love Korean food as much as you do! ;o)
i would think it would be too chewy for a cat…pretty cat.
hahahahaaa that is the cutest thing ever! two of the family cats love ojinguh. one of the dogs loves it…the other two dogs try to kill it by rolling on it with their shoulder, and the other cat could care less (yup, there’s 3 of each!)

my cat sniffs in interest when we eat ojinguh but won’t eat it when it’s offered. he goes crazy over seaweed.

just wondering~ do you have a recipe for homemade mandoo for dukkmandoo gook? or else do you a recommend a certain brand of mandoo? i usually don’t like store bought mandoo and i wanted to make some dukkmandoo gook for new years.
