i think it’s just all something we pick up from our moms.
Yeah I second Boo’s comment. lol
i dont do that… BUT I LOVES YOU DAMMMMMITTTT!!!!!
lol. funny… i save them and give them to my ummah to refill
i collect junks =P
That’s not “ajumma”, that’s just being economical!
hahhha it must be the pack rat syndrome…i do it too!
VERY true!
hehehehehe i think im becoming a ajumha but a relaly cute hip one though
hahhaha it’s korean tubberware ^^ so you can give bahn chan to others!
that’s very smart and environmentally conscious. My parents do that and I plan to as well!
and it’s great because you don’t have to worry about other people not returning your containers when you bring them food!
haha. ahjumas fighting!
I’ve always been doing that and I just got my bf to start doing the same. =)
i fill mine with doggie treats.
hahhaha y’know it! =)
have you got to the point where you rinse out the zip lock bags and dry them in the dish racks? no? now that is some kinda ahjumahness that you can’t recover from.
)
my mom is so big on that, i’m sure i’ll follow her footsteps =)
lol my mom always yells at me for always throwing out the containers she gives me food in. i think it’s more of a hassle to wash them.
hahah thats awesome! and so true.
aint nothing wrong with saving up ur pennies to spend on a new pair of shoes. =)
lol, “korean tupperware”… chinese ma-ma’s do that too, hehe… i’m trying to break the tradition though – i recycle them so at least i feel like they will eventually be reused again…
do you have any ideas for some hor’ devours and appetizers to serve for super bowl sunday!?!? i have a few friends coming over and i want to serve a mixture of good ol’ american super bowl food such as hot winigs, fries, nachoes and what not but want to make a few korean dishes as well…so far all i got is duk bok ee =)
Thanks! btw your site is very usefull and darn right Awesome!
Hello, I am a newbie to this site. You rock! I thank you, and my stomach loves you. Keep up the good work.
ahhhhh, oh so true!!!!
ahh yes. so true.
i love reusing the glass ones to collect hot oil/ fats while cooking
Mmm hmm. Haha, I love what spygirl4 said – my mom even washes & saves ziplock bags to re-use. I save the jars that my mom gives me bahn chan in and ask her if she wants me to bring them back home to her.
lol. that is so true. My mom does that.
Haha, we Chinese people do that too.
But that was when I was about 8 years younger and a little hyper kid.
I liked using the glass jars to keep pets in. Such as random bugs and such.
the jars are better than plastic tupperware!
i’m soooooo guilty.
no wonder i’m a pack rat… not only that, we save every single plastic bag, and we always have screens on any drain, even if it’s the garbage disposal!
hahaha HELL YEAH it’s korean tupperware! well put!
